The dry weather continues so we are continuing to monitor your soil moisture and recommend irrigation to assist you in growing the best crop you can and strong, resilient, healthy vines able to withstand the rigours of Psa.
As our graph below shows it has been a very dry year, with really next to no rain in Whakatane all season. We feel for growers in that area with no irrigation.
Keep the water going on where you can and need to. We will continue to assist you in getting that amount right.
Best wishes for harvest to the early start growers. If you are only picking the one block, where our tubes are, but still want to monitor soil moisture to schedule irrigation for other blocks, do let us know and we will continue to monitor and provide reports to assist with growing the rest of the crop through the remainder of the season.
